Anotācija: Thai action star Tony Jaa has become internationally famous first with Ong Bak and then with Tom Yum Goong. Unbelievable Thai martial arts explodes onto your home theater screen in the international hit Ong Bak! Poor, earnest villager Ting (Panom Yeerum AKA Tony Jaa) arrives in Bangkok looking to find the head of "Ong Bak," a Buddha statue from his local village that was desecrated by unknown villains. What follows is a breathtaking confrontation of good versus evil packed with superbly choreographed fight scenes, exciting and acrobatic chase sequences, and cinematic action panache not seen since the early days of Jackie Chan!

Tom Yum Goong, from the creators of Ong Bak, marks another chapter in the rise Tony Jaa. Following the same simple formula that helped make Ong Bak a runaway international success, Tom Yum Goong is filled with bone crunching fight sequences and jaw-dropping stuntwork. Kham, (Jaa) a simple Thai lad from the countryside, is forced out of his quiet lifestyle, and indeed his country, after his elephant is stolen by a vicious band of animal traffickers. In effect little more than a ninety-minute showcase of Jaa's talents, Tom Yum Goong is trashy popcorn entertainment at its best and guaranteed to put a smile on the face of martial arts lovers everywhere.
