The newest issue of Shonen Jump revealed that DEATH NoTE (story: Tsugumi Ohba art: Takeshi Obata) has been made into a live action film. There will be two installments -- the first of which is to be released in June, followed by an October sequel. The cast and staff have yet to be revealed.

Part one (releasing in June) will play up the the Yobatsu Coporate Killing and part 2 (releasing in Oct) will deal with Light VS L.

We reported a couple days ago on the release of two DEATH NOTE live action films this year. Tatsuya Fujiwara (23), star of BATTLE ROYALE1 has been cast as LIGHT YAGAMI, the main character. Fujiwara himself is a big fan of the series, and has confessed that he's excited but is under alot of pressure at the same time. He'll do his best to live up to everyone's expectations.

Es būtībā esmu diezgan negatīvās domās par live action kā tādām.. Un dotie aktieri man kaut kā galīgi neliekas atbilstoši, but we'lll see.... Hmm. Dunno. It might be good in the end, actually, who knows.

(nolažojos ar centrēšanu un galvas augšdaļa lapā neielīda - pēcāk jau bij slinkums kaut ko kaut kur bīdīt un mainīt..)
pārāk līdzīgs nav, bet priekš pirmā mēģinājuma, imho, ir ok.
