The new shoujo show replacing Ashita no Nadja, PreCure is a totally different type of show, the Magical Girl kind!

So Nagisa and Honoka are our two reluctant heroines (okay, well Nagisa's the really reluctant one, but she's the one we follow), and they use swipe these cards through their cell phone things to become Cure Black and Cure White, together Pretty Cure! They receive these cell phone creature things that drag them out into the night to find each other, and end up fighting a minion of the forces of darkness. The forces of darkness have taken a cue from Sailor Moon and use this big dark creature with a vague form to take over everyday objects like rollercoasters in order to wreak havoc and fight the two girls. It's pretty... lame. But that's okay, I guess! I'm not sure if the creatures or the forces of darkness have any connection to the meteor showers in the episode, but it's pretty strongly hinted at. ^^

Nagisa is the sports-type girl who plays Lacrosse (yay, good choice!), and Honoka is the brainy-type girl who is the leader of the science club or something, creating lots of smoke with her experiments. She seems pretty competent, though. She's also popular with the boys! Nagisa is popular with the girls instead (to her dismay).
