I am new here, actually. But there is for me a lot to tell about KKJ.
Once again a scrambled and unfinished ending was mentioned. It rerurns us to the problem, that all the studios like to change the plot to a totaly different thing - to make it easier and more understandable. it returns us to the problem what is superior - manga or anime. Anime was, is and will be secondary to manga.
I haven't read the seven volumes, but only the last two - 6,7 vol.
Believe me it has a breathtaking ending. Maron fights against herself, Fin protects her and is unable to kill Acess Time. He becomes a base angel. Marons parents come together. In a special chapter the future of them is shown. Their families, children and beautiful story about Noin.
I can only say it is hard to put this story in the frame of 25 minutes episodes.
Actually, it would be interesting to read for a boy, too. Arina Tanemura says there are a lot of male fans of KKJ.
