Hi Otaku friends
My name is Santino Cabras i am italian, Sardinian. I am 26 years old.
I created 3 associations here: i organize live role play events, tekken tournment and whatever is related to dreams like manga and anime

I have one relationship with a latvian girl and i will come to latvia in december. Alona Told me that in latvia no people plays RPG and noone is interested in videogames, she told me also that is not a turistic place and that usually italians came just to have sex with latvian girls, i really do not need this and i dislike to be considered "that kind of italian" she told me that there people are rational and cold but i really do not want to belive this. Here we spent magic vacation at the sea and she enjoyed a lot. But she told me that in riga it will not be so funny.
Now she is going to study for master in economics in ireland so i really do not know how it will be my time in riga cause she will need to study a lot also during vacations.
I understand nothing of russian and latvian, i just know that russian is in cirillic and latvian in latin letters but i speak quite good english, french spanish and obviously italian.

I would like to know people with the same interests of me when i will be in latvia and fight other tekken players in riga.
I will offer to drink to all the person that will kick my ass playing tekken there in riga. I ask the owner of this forum to excuse me if i speak in english but i hope to find new friends and to enjoy a lot and i have ho other way to communicate.

In future... if a real friendship will start i will envite you as my guests here in my magic island, i really have no problems of spaces in my big house. Alo is a woman that only think to study, here she is changed a lot and she become mad like me but she really doesn't know how to make me feel good in latvia so i am trying to start friendship by myself in internet.

The tekken association site is work in progress but here i am the champ and is quite sad if i am also the president of the association so i am waiting that some brave friend here in cagliari would manage it.

I think many people in Latvivia are playing cRPG, not so many are playing table RPG, video games are popular in Latvia, thats for sure . I like D&D ( my favorite RPG )!!!! I'm good tekken player, so i think we could play when you will come to Latvia!!!! But playing tekken at arcade piu, so i can talk to some friends, maby we could get ps2!!!!!!!!

• English - quite common (especially among the youth) but also quite shitty;
• French - not to common;
• Spanish & Italian - even less common.

Yes, Latvia is not a "touristic" place. If you have urge to travel in Baltic, I'd suggest to visit Lithuania. It's much more tourist-friendly place and it's rather cheap.

Latvia is often referred as slut-land by some tourists. It's probably true, i cant deny it.

Tekken 5 has been out for a duration of time that has coincided with my work too much so i cant say that i have practised it to ANY extent (although i could arrange a meeting with Riga's official T5 champ) so if yes i could try and whoop your ass as previously mentioned

Ja nemaldos, tas bija Guilty Gear, kuru normāli uz PC bez stika nevar paspēlēt. Nezinu, man tie faiteri 2d plaknē tā nepārāk.
Un tas pāzlis, ko viņi spēlēja, bija Puyo Pop.

tekken i think bypass is a bit harsh telling that Latvia is not a "touristic" place.
It depends what do you want out of it. If you want high-class, max comfort tourism then maybe not. But that also depends from location you want to go.
Service could've been better and not much people speak English outside of capital.
But there are alot of nice places to see.
I suggest to check out this site http://www.celotajs.lv/index.jsp?lang=en
It will help you plan your travels. You can find alot of cheap places to spend the night and hosts who does speak English.

As for Latvia being slut-land, erm... that is also a huge exageration. There are only some clubs in Riga which could fit that category and probably in some other cities as well. Of course there are people who seek only those kinds of clubs and who am i to blame girls who want to earn some more money?
